Questions

Good to know

When does open enrollment start?+

Marketplace open enrollment starts Nov 1. Deadlines for a Jan 1 start vary by state exchange, so it helps to start early. We'll confirm the dates for your state.

Why do you ask about income?+

Marketplace subsidies depend on household income, and private plans are an option if you don't qualify. A rough range helps us show the right plans. You can choose "Prefer not to say."

Does it cost anything?+

No. Our review is free. Insurance carriers pay us, so you pay the same premium for a plan whether you use an agent or not.

Are private plans the same as ACA plans?+

No. Private plans are not part of the Marketplace, may ask health questions, and aren't tied to open enrollment. ACA plans accept everyone, regardless of health. We'll explain which fits you.
